Sites of injuries due to interpersonal violence in 1156 men attending the Accident and Emergency Departments and examined in the Department of Forensic Medicine in Aarhus, Denmark during a 1 year period from August 1993 to July 1994 (Brink et al., ). Numbers represent the percentage of the total 1808 injuries that occurred in each region of the body. Note that the majority of injuries were inflicted on the face (68.5%), followed by the right hand (8.5%), and the back of the head (4.0).
