The first kumibo tournament of the Okinawa Traditional Kobudo Association was held February, 2011.

A moment of Aiuchi during a bout between Memo Aparicio Tejeda (l.) and Kinjo Kenta (r.). Memo’s thrust passes under Kenta’s shoulder protector, while Kenta’s thrust hits memo’s shoulder.
